Ultimatum: Time to change leadership

Just over a month ahead of the May 9, 2022 elections, do you have preferred political candidates to govern you for another three years of public office?

Time is running fast for the final judgment to all of the wannabes seeking re-election and of those first in politics, you have to think it seriously now.

The atrocities brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and typhoon Odette already helped us realize who are among the candidates in our town, district and in the province, we must pick.

The bad omens we have had experienced from those who are still serving us now give us a clear perception to select the very deserving future leaders.

It is now easy for us to choose for new leaders due to the incompetence we saw in these the incumbents.

A candidate for a national seat said, that if the people want change because the society needs it, they should install ‘new’ leaders.

It is also easy to choose new leaders if we prudently make a background check of their personalities.

Considering there is an old and common cancer in the society today, corruption, the very effective way to achieve the be-all and end-all of politics: welfare of the people, is to eradicate corruption by voting trustworthy candidates.

The ultimatum is to replace incompetent leaders for the people to see a sincere, clean and competitive leadership, for the sake of good governance. (Wilson Auguis Subrio)
