THE Queen of Bohol, whose candidates are mostly members of the LGBTQIA+, has chosen the top five to vie for the Darling of the Press plum.

The top 5 are Norvin King Sweigart, representing Loon town; Kendall Jones, Alicia; Cristine Olaer, Candijay; Kate Alverastine, Ubay; and Medj Boiser, Pres. Carlos P. Garcia. And the winner will be proclaimed on July 24 during the coronation night at the Bohol Cultural Center.

Jones is advocating Tourism Awareness; Sweigart bats for HIV/AIDS Awareness; Cristine Olaer for Stop Body Shaming; Alverastine for Young LGBTQIA+ Empowerment; and Boiser for Abante Turismo sa Pitogo.

Other candidates with their respective advocacies are Anika Dondoyano (Calape) for Active Citizenship & Participation Towards Sustainable Development;  Emma Daan (Clarin), Simpleng Uniporme alang sa mga Bata sa Isla; Jyra Supieza (Danao), HIV/AIDS Awareness & SOGIE Education and Rogelee Sanset Macalam (Duero), No to Body Shaming #LoveYourself.

Shine Torreon (Getafe) pushes for Basic Proper Education for All; Teofanis Narisma (Guindulman), LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Education to Children; Jane Madrigal (Panglao), Home for the Golden Gays; Erica Garcia Lee (Tagbilaran City), Person with Disabilities; 13. TALIBON – Eugene Lofranco (Talibon), Breast Cancer Awareness; and Laurince Catalan (Tubigon), Education for All Campaign.
