BOHOL continues to be a preferred tourism destination, especially for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).
Last week, Gov. Aris Aumentado welcomed the Organization of Socialized Housing Developers of the Philippines (OSHDP) for the OSHDP Affordable Housing Summit 2022 in Panglao.
The province hosted an estimated 300 delegates in the real estate industry led by national president Gino Olivares.
This week, around 150 participants are attending the 3rd Liturgical Architecture Conference 2022 organized by the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Committee on Liturgical and Sacred Spaces.
The delegation will go on a guided tour of Marian churches in the province, a fitting venue for the convention that also features the restoration of churches ruined during the earthquake.
Bohol is also set to host UAP’s National Conference of Architects, bringing over a thousand domestic and foreign delegates this week.
Early this month, the luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent brought foreign guests on an aerial exploration of Bohol. Meanwhile, the province is also a benchmark favorite for governance initiatives such as in disaster response, with Liga ng mga Barangay Manila Chapter learning from Bohol’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management best practices coming in batches this month.
