She explained that her true account or page has a 7.4k likes and 14k followers.
She advised everyone to be careful. She said that “look for an official page,” “report and block suspicious accounts,” and “spread awareness to protect others.”
To detect fake accounts, verify or double check the source. This as scammers will use beauty to lure in ‘friends’ and will often feature a pic of a gorgeously attractive girl or handsome guy on their pages, study said.
“Why? We are only human – an enticing photo dramatically increases the chance of having a friend request accepted,” t said. (rvo)
