THE Erico Boyles Aumentado High School was formally conceptualized upon the foreseeing of a vast and challenging scenario that was cogently observed. Thru the positive vision of a free-thinking authority former 2nd District Congressman Erico Aristotle C. Aumentado now our new Governor of Bohol set the hard work for the realization of the dreams intended for Ubayano young learners being inspired by the legacy of the person of the school name itself, marked as the legend and a great Boholano leader. Marched with a few courageous and service-oriented staff in working all the necessary documents and conducting vigorous conferences and consultations of some bigwigs’ who are the potential figure to the fulfillment manned by the Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Edilberto Boncales Avenido Ph.D. with the full support of our LGU Ubay Officials spearheaded by Hon. Mayor Constantino H. Reyes. The collaborative efforts of administration and staff handed by Mr. Cresencio Palmon Longay Jr. made the School positioned to where it is intended for.
After five years of operation, EBAHS in its infancy state having four (4) teachers with 204 learners in the first year of operation has now transformed into a complete secondary institution realizing the dreams of every parent and Ubayano young learners. At present, EBAHS marks as the most populated high school in the town of Ubay catering to a total number of enrolees to 1417 students. However, the number of teachers that EBAHS has which are only 22, cannot match the total number of students that EBAHS has.
To solve the shortage, Mayor Constantino H. Reyes aided the school with 15 teachers being paid for by the LGU-Ubay through the Special Education Fund of the Municipality. Contemporarily the institution relentlessly develops and ameliorates in terms of facilities and manpower in catering quality service to its constituents.
The devastation left by super typhoon Odette, where only five usable classrooms were left, brings a very great challenge to the present administration of the school and the entire community itself. Hence, the School’s Administration, Faculty, and Staff, along with the Parents Teachers Association, LGU-Ubay, and the Private Stakeholders joined their best efforts and willingly participated in the BRIGADA ESKWELA PROGRAM resulting in the emergence of the new Temporary learning Spaces thus, large shortage of classrooms been lightened up.
