INSPIRATIONAL music can be used for many purposes. Listening to upbeat music can help people feel less stressed and happier. In difficult times, they provide emotional support and comfort. Listening to motivational music can inspire and motivate people to pursue their goals and objectives. They can aid in the growth of confidence and self-worth. Inspirational songs have the power to uplift, motivate, and inspire individuals, providing a sense of purpose and meaning.

One’s relationship with faith, spirituality, or a higher power might be strengthened by listening to inspirational music. They can evoke feelings of hope and optimism, assisting people in overcoming obstacles in life and fostering a sense of belonging and shared experience among those who hear them. Above all, these songs have the power to bring people from all walks of life together.

During the time of pandemic, on 2020, Rev. Fr. Pablo Omamalin, gave a gift to DepEd SDO Bohol. A song entitled, “Kinabuhi Ko, Ampingan Ko”. A technical working group was created to have this advocacy campaign to inspire and protect lives in the times of crisis. The song was adopted and highlighted as the flagship project in the provision of psychological interventions for those at risk, considered ad Project DERS (Dance Exercise through Religious Songs).  The SDO Bohol adoption of Project DERS was during the leadership of former Schools Division Superintendent Bianito A. Dagatan EdD, CESO V.

This song aims to inspire and uplift, reminding listeners to hold onto hope and faith in times of uncertainty and challenge. It encourages trust, resilience, and positivity, and celebrates the power of faith and love to guide us through life’s journey. The song was provided with several versions of dance steps and been uploaded at different social media websites.
