A TOTAL of 267 recipients from 25 Bohol Municipalities graduated from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
All three legislators from the congressional districts of Bohol were present during the graduation program with various municipal mayors giving their special messages to the graduates.
But Congresswoman Alexie B. Tutor promised that the 213 out of the 267 graduates, who hail from 3rd district, will be enrolled in Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
During the ceremony, 2nd District Congresswoman Vanessa Aumentado, who represented her husband Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, congratulated the 267 recipients and showed appreciation for the DSWD for successfully implementing 4Ps in helping Boholanos. Cong. Aumentado hopes this will be the last time the 267 graduates will be under the 4PS program, encouraging them to work hard to create a good environment for their families above the poverty line.
Aumentado.
DSWD Undersecretary Jerico Francis Javier gave a keynote speech thanking agencies, municipalities, and other sectors for helping the 4Ps program successful in the Province.
