Governor Aris Aumentado and 2nd District Representative Maria Vanessa ‘Van-van’ Aumentado led the official turnover ceremony in San Vicente, Trinidad on August 21, 2026.
The Capitol extended ₱447,000 of the total assistance to the Trinidad Talibon Integrated Farmers Association (TTIFA) Inc. to purchase fertilizer for members’ rice production.
The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) facilitated the assistance as part of Capitol efforts to strengthen farmers’ productivity and sustain local agricultural livelihoods.
The turnover was attended by PCDO Head Ma. Conrada Fuentes, Community Development Officer Benjamin Villeno, EA III Jun Flores, and SB Members Gilbert Boncales and Michael Lao, together with other PCDO personnel and local officials.
TTIFA President Judith Eronico expressed her happiness and gratitude to the Capitol, noting that the long-awaited assistance has finally arrived.
Meanwhile, Gov. Aumentado underscored the importance of collective action and shared responsibility in strengthening local communities and supporting agricultural livelihoods.
Cong. Van-van Aumentado reaffirmed her commitment to continuous collaboration in addressing the immediate needs of farmers and their communities.
In addition, the Capitol allocated ₱600,000 to the Municipality of Trinidad to support community-level programs and urgent local needs.
Specifically, each of the municipality’s 20 barangays received ₱30,000 to fund priority community activities and localized development projects.
These initiatives advance the Strategic Governance Roadmap 2028 by promoting inclusive economic growth, strengthening resilient communities, and delivering responsive public service.
Furthermore, the initiative reinforces Bohol Island Geopark objectives by supporting sustainable livelihoods and active community participation. (PIMO/MAPI)
