Di ba ang Bise-Gobernador?

IN Short Cuts May 29 column, he dealt on the MOST GASTADOR Board Member.

He never believes that the item could draw interest from valued readers in the province. To the extent that Short Cuts received four (4) days ago a request for him to reveal thru this column the true and exact expenditure on fuel consumption of every member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

This period covers the months of January to May of 2022. It is of record that these mentioned months are considered the busiest months in 2022 being an election year. Especially for those board members seeking for reelection.

And, this could be the main reason for such a heavy expenditure!

These expenditures, however, must be totally commensurate UNTA with the number of towns and barangays in the congressional district where the board member is serving.

It is, therefore, safe to conclude that the lesser number of barangays and municipalities in a congressional district where a board member was elected, his fuel consumption is expected to be lesser.

On the other hand, with a bigger number of barangays and towns in a congressional district, the elected board member in the said district is but reasonable to incur MORE in gasoline consumption than that of the board members of the districts with lesser LGUs.

Otherwise, something is absolutely wrong!

Otherwise, something is messy!

And, otherwise, something is worth a deeper scrutiny into the matter!

Either the same government fuel was “relayed” to political leaders working for him. OR, it was SOLD.

If the item was given to ordinary citizens working for his election, how legal is it?

If, on the other hand it was sold, does such a transaction NOT expect legal sanctions?

There could be no other interpretation into such a misdemeanor.

But, looking into the other side of the coin, kinsa man di-ay ang tig-APPROVE kon mo request na ang Board Member ug gasolina O crudo?

Di ba ang BISE-GOBERNADOR?

Unya, ngano nga gipasagdan man lang niya?

Experience wise, Short Cuts had his days at the Provincial Board for three terms. He was with Chatto, Herrera, and Lim as his vice-governors. With Short Cuts as the Senior Board Member.

Now, it can be told!

Members of the Provincial Board in those terms were all advised and trained by their respective Presiding Officers on fuel allocations. Short Cuts could not remember of the most GASTADOR  Board Member during those terms. All Board Members were almost equal in terms of fuel consumption.

However, Short Cuts is very, very sorry to fail his readers the information thru this column as to the actual fuel consumption of the present (2019-2022) Board Members.

He waited until 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of Friday, June 10, 2022 for the said records.

But the source miserably failed! As to the reason or reasons, Short Cuts is not privy to the cause. He sincerely hopes that the record shall   already be available next week.

For this, Short Cuts apologizes.

After hearing from the grapevines just yesterday afternoon, Short Cuts is more than willing to ask these queries:

How reliable is the information that in just five (5) months there were four thousand (4,000) casuals hired by the “Buhat ang Pasulti-on” governor?

That in the same period, there were also four hundred (400) job orders employed?

And, that since Odette struck the province in December last year, relief goods are still “occupying” our Cultural Center?

Therefore, the items were not delivered to prospective recipients that suffered the wrath of Odette!

With the foregoing concerns, Short Cuts is more than willing to dig into these issues next week.
