SDO Bohol ensures the readiness of the schools the school year 2026-2027. Schools Division Superintendent Fay C. Luarez instructed to conduct SDO monitoring for opening of classes. The monitoring is anchored on DepEd issuances related to the annual Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) and readiness validation activities which ensure that schools are fully prepared before and during the opening of classes. Recent division memoranda emphasize continuous monitoring of school readiness, enrollment, facilities, and learner support systems.
The objectives of the MOC aims to assess and ensure the readiness of schools for the opening of classes and provide immediate technical assistance to address gaps in: enrollment and learner data, instructional readiness, school facilities and safety, teaching and learning resources, and administrative and support systems
Scope of monitoring includes: kindergarten to grades 12 (Basic Education) in the public and private schools and the Alternative Learning System. The SDO monitors usually use: School Readiness Checklist, Enrollment Monitoring Sheet, Classroom Observation Tool, Facility Inspection Checklist, OBE Monitoring and Evaluation Form, and Division Technical Assistance Form as their monitoring tools
SDO Bohol monitoring teams are divided as Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID) and School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD). CID is divided into two teams, Team A with CID OIC Chief Evelyn H. Codilla, EPSvrs Pablito D. Villalon, Grace P. Mendez, Josephine D. Eronico, and Jeaneylette C. Ayson. Team B is composed of EPSvrs Jupiter I. Maboloc, Felix C. Galacio, Generosa T. Castillo, and Ma. Maya V. Tumalon.
The expected outputs of the said monitoring activities are the following: complete enrollment and class data, functional and organized classrooms, smooth start of classes, identified issues with corresponding actions taken, and consolidated monitoring report.
