California-based Boholano offers tips for aspiring musicians

A SELF-made Boholano musician and filmmaker now based in Los Angeles, California, USA   is offering a one-day seminar for aspiring musicians and entertainers to local youth who would like to follow their dreams.  Both his parents can trace their roots to Valencia, his father being an Ipanag and his mother, a Lagahit.

BIT International along Gallarest St. will host the symposium that will be attended by its students and those who share the same passion for music from Holy Name University where Nate will interrelate with them.

Born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland in the suburbs of Washington, DC, USA, Nathan Lagahit Ipanag got hooked in martial arts early in life to which his parents attribute his being disciplined in whatever he does.  He got involved in sports, music, the performing arts in high school and in the community.  He learned to play the piano and picked up singing from family gatherings that usually get everyone to do karaoke until the wee hours of the night.  As he grew older he moved to the West Coast and, residing in Hollywood, California, he picked up film making from associates and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

He got credited for his works with Adidas, Reebok, NFL (National Football League) Superbowl and produced materials for Magic Johnson, Toni Braxton, Nick Jonas and many others.

Nathan plans to share the experience he gained in his journey in the entertainment industry from Maryland to Hollywood, California where he has explored the field and has made it there quite well.  His experiences could be replicated by the youth in Bohol who are passionate about making it to the entertainment world.  Natey, as he is known among his colleagues, will be 29 on June 24 and single.
