THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has disbursed last week Cash basic needs assistance to a total of 226 beneficiaries in Jagna town, according to post of May Abad Gales.
The pay-out was done at the atrium in this town thru the efforts of Congresswoman Alexie B. Tutor, the post said.
Each beneficiary received P2,000.00. The beneficiaries thanked Tutor and to reelected Mayor Joseph Ranola.
The said post that the pa-out was successful with the able support of concerned personnel Tommy G. Daomani, Ms. Cindymeh Valleser, Social Welfare Aid ll of DSWD Tagbilaran City Office; employees of the MSWD led by Mrs. Alma Acera and staff, Marife Añasco and Rovi Ann Bernados.
Ms. Marjorie Escuadro, representative of Tutor gave a short message during the short program.
Earlier, the agency has disbursed to qualified/identified beneficiaries the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
There are 335 beneficiaries in barangays Pagina and 297 in barangay Pangdan Can-upao adunay 586 Benificiaries; barangay Tejero, 398; Poblacion, and 237 beneficiaries. Or a total of 1,853 recipients.
The total disbursed fund amounted to P9,265,000.00.
The said pay-out was done by DSWD Region7, including Fe Mar Ansok, project Development Officer 1; Saturnino Camasura, Project Development Officerel; Lady Lee Estorba, administrative assistant ll.
Assisting the activity is Julius B. Villanueva PDO ll, employees of Jagna MSWDO, Mr. Antioco Lloren and barangay officials of Pagina thru barangay chair Felipe A. Acha, Ms. Nathalie Cuarto, Barangay secretary and Child Development workers Lovelle Aileen Balaba and Mary Margaret Abres. (rvo)
