LOAY Mayor Atty. Hilario “Lahar” Ayuban minced no words of expressing what he sees as nothing wrong for a congressional district having the biggest fund allocation from the annual budget of the country.
Gani, usa ang lungsod sa Loay ang nabulahan niini,” he said in his lengthy fb post.
(I post this one so others may understand that it is not wrong for a district to have a big chunk of the pie in the annual budget. But instead, it shows the diligence and sincerity of the Congressman.. and Loay has greatly benefited from this).
Duero town Mayor Al Taculad pointed out in his post that a district having big allocation does not translate to corruption. He added that a district that got the lion’s share in the nation’s budget should not be construed in the negative, instead it shows there’s a leader who does his/her job and stand by his/her people.
This surfaced after the third district of Bohol got some Php2.7 billion as “wishlist” of Congw. Alexie B. Tutor, considered as the biggest among the representatives’ alleged “sponsored” fund allocation or “fund request” in the annual budget, according to the report of Bilyonaryo Online News.
Earlier on, Bilyonaryo named almost all senators, including those non-incumbents, having the same “wishlist” projects. This time it exposed the congressmen’s wishlist after Batangas and Senator Loren Legarda’s son first district Cong. Leviste started to post online the data he got from then DPWH Usec. Catalina Cabral.
Ayuban did not say that the said big chunk of the district was an “insertion,” when asked by an online comment.
The mayor said that it caused no disappointment that the district got the big fund allocation as the district having 19 towns and 436 barangays, but still lack development. The people of the district must be grateful for these projects. Worthy to be disgusted when there are ghost projects, the mayor said.
Sierra-Bullones Mayor Atty. Michael Doria also express unyielding support to Congw. Tutor. He said that he is very thankful that the good congresswoman poured fund to his town to the tune of over P300 million worth of projects that benefited the people.
“Salamat jamoan Cong Alexie “Kumbati.”
Lila Mayor Atty. Jed Piollo appealed to social media not to create an image that put what Congw. Tutor has done for the district in bad light.
He said the people are grateful and proud of the congresswoman.
Bilar Mayor Norman “Tata” Palacio joined in the support of Congw. Tutor in his social media post.
(Bilar town is one of those who see you, Congw. Tutor of your being diligent that thru you the people dream are being realized). The mayor, like Mayor Ayuban, has shown a litany of hard projects with their corresponding funding in his town to prove the congresswoman di not sleep in her responsibility. (Ric Obedencio)
