
PANGLAO, Bohol – Vice-Gov. Nick S. Besas has sworn in new officers of the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) under Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) during the simple but fitting rites held at Modala Beach Resort, Doljo, Panglao Bohol on Dec. 3, 2025.
Vice-Guv Besas who represented Gov. Aris Aumentado as the inducting officer and guest speaker of the event, read the message of the governor after the swearing in.
The provincial advisory groups is led by chairman Rommel T. Gonzales; Dr. Anne Mariquit Oppus, Internal affairs Vice-Chair; Fr. Vicente L. Uy SVD, external affairs Vice-chair; Gina Panio, secretary; Eliezer Borja, treasurer; Francis Bernard Batoy, auditor; and Francisco V. Obedencio, PRO.
Members are: Carlito Responte, Anthony Damalerio, Hilger Horn, Belinda Sales, Atty. Peter Bill Elizalde, Dave Charles Responte, Delia J. Quiao, PSMS Florentino Diola (ret), Dr. Christian Emannuel T. Lim, Lawrence Xavier Ancla, Steven B. Lim, Victor Magallanes, Atty. Godfrey Tubo and Zoila Jan C. Cenabre.
The technical working groups is composed of various committees headed by the ff: provincial director PCol Patricio C Degay, Jr.; TWG Chair PLt Col Judy Mar Bonilla; and members PltCol Hernan C Legaspi; PltCol Joemar Pomarejos; PMaj Christopher Fernandez; PMaj Librado L Bigcas; PLtCOl Norman Nuez; and PltCol Albart Tare.
Presenters are PCPt Girlie Tolop and PCPt Aileen Marie L Remedio and secretariat members: PLtCOl Chuck Marandog, PMaj Andie L Corpus, PMaj Rey Olar, PSSg Jeremy Amahoy, PSSg Maria Greezi Romano and PCPl Marie Beth Gil Nino.
Following the induction ceremony the groups held its first meeting with the agenda of the present updates of plans for the last quarter of the year and review of significant issues resolved.
Presentations of cybercrime statistics, crimes involving women and children and drug status/drug-cleared barangays are expected to be tackled During the said meeting. (Ric Virador Obedencio)
