She denied any involvement in the Discaya affair, based of course on the official statement of the DPWH.

According to DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon, WAWAW undertook a 100 million flood control project in Bulacan, commenced in 2024 with a duration of 270 days but the project was finished in less than 3 months or in June 2024. The DPWH certified the projected as completed and in July 2024, full payment was made.
But Dizon said, based on the testimony of the barangay captain, and based on ocular and physical inspection, WAWAW started excavation of the project only 3 weeks ago.
