DAGOHOY, Bohol- Vice gubernatorial candidate Santos Abella on Saturday expressed his appreciation for the candidate’s preference rating of 11 percent based on the latest HNU-Bohol Poll 2025 survey results.
“We acknowledge the overwhelming support of the people as the Bohol Poll 2025 survey results clearly show, but we will work hard to reach all voters in every city and every towns until election day, and even beyond,” Abella further said.
Abella made the statement after a HNU-Bohol Poll 2025 survey conducted from March 6-29 2025, revealed that 11% percent of adult Boholanos would prefer to vote for him on May 12,2025 midterm elections.
“It’s always good to see that people have a choice to elect their leaders. It’s very encouraging,” Abella said during a chance interview in his hometown.
“Of course, we offer our vision for Bohol. We offer programs that I am sure it will inspire all of us public servants to continue doing our best for the people,” he added.
The HNU Bohol poll showed that Nick Besas had 31 percent and Gerry Garcia had 28 percent voters’ preference. The survey showed 30 percent of respondents were undecided.
Abella, a farmer, said his programs for Bohol include free health and education, women and youth empowerment, agri-tourism and food security and social welfare. (rvo)
