ALL is well that ends well, as the saying goes.

This came after the camps of Mayor Thamar Olaivar and Vice-Mayor Christopher Tutor agreed to bury the hatchet for a rift between them that risk their political leadership.

It was not immediately known what made the Olaivar-Tutor tandem cracked. It was also reported that Gov. Aris Aumentado tried and somehow convinced the duo to continue serving Candijaynons as one.

Mayor Thamar Olaivar, together with Vice-Mayor Tutor, heeded the voice of the people that prompted them for reelection.

This as both camps, earlier, distanced from each other, and if reports are to be believed, no one from each camp to file for mayoralty bid of the town in next year’s elections.

But it all changed for the better as Olaivar and Tutor, who remain resolute, filed on October 5 their respective certificates of candidacy (COC) for municipal Mayor and municipal Vice-Mayor, respectively.

Mayor Olaivar was accompanied by her husband and Tutor by his better-half, incumbent Congw. Alexie B. Tutor (3rd dist).

Both run under the alliance of Laban ng Demokratiko Party-Nacionalista Party.

For the Sangguniang Bayan Member under Olaivar-Tutor tandem, the following filed their COCs: Jonathan Sales, Gerome Dotarot, Arvin Galera, Citoy Calulo, Erlinda Curativo, Charina Bagor, Arlene Caadlawon  and Renato Tutor (rvo)
