PIRMADO na ang Provincial Ordinance No. 2023-098, “Declaring the Province of Bohol as Environment-Friendly and Clean Energy Province, Prioritizing Innovative Renewable Energy Development, Providing Incentives Therefore and for other Purposed”.
Si Board Member Jamie Aumentado Villamor ang nagpanday niini nga na-aprobahan niadtong Disyembre 7, 2023.
Usa kini sa mga gipanghingusgang ordinansa ni BM Villamor sanglit naa man sa policy-making ang iyang kasinatian kaniadto sa bag-o pa siyang nahimong manlalaban.
“It is my goal that through this ordinance, Bohol is moving forward to progress in the right direction. That which is a balance of development and the protection of the environment and health of inhabitants,” pamahayag pa ni BM Villamor.
“It was a quite a journey, and I wouldn’t have done it without the help and guidance of the resource persons in the technical working group (TWG). The support of my fellow members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), Vice Governor Victor Balite and Governor Aris Aumentado made the passage and enactment of this measure possible.”
Apil sa mga “salient features” sa maong ordinansa mao ang kaugamaran ug pag-promote sa mga renewable energy tourism projects ug ang maayong paggamit sa renewable energy projects kabahin sa agrikultura ug ubang sector.
I-exempt usab ang mga renewable energy investors sa mga bayrunon sa real property tax kutob sa 5 ka tuig sa operasyon nga sugdan sa “next calendar year human naluwatan sa Certificate of Registration gikan sa Bohol Investment Board.
Pwede na suma pa sa ordinansa nga magamit ang net-metering program sa Department of Energy nga moresulta sa “electricity cost savings”.
Magaumol usab og Bohol Renewable Energy Board suma pa sa maong ordinansa.
