ALL the while, I thought the Insik is no longer trying very hard to insert himself into another cabinet position.
But sources told me, he is still actively pursuing that direction.

One time, he was seen visiting the office of the newly-appointed cabinet secretary and once seated in the office, he proceeded to “lecture” right away the secretary on what to do and what not to do.
Luoy laman ang secretary kay tungod sa kakurat, wa intawon makatubag dayon ug igo na lang naminaw sa Insik.
As soon as he got back his poise, the secretary summoned enough balls to remain diplomatic and profusely thanked the Insik. He told the Insik he appreciated his concerns and committed to take note of his valuable recommendations.
Apparently emboldened by the humility and graciousness of the secretary, the Insik tried to sell himself to the secretary by claiming that he possesses enough brilliance to assist the secretary to do his job better and his willingness to sit as, ahem, senior adviser of the secretary.
Shocked by the surprise offer, plus the fact that he needed to check on the credentials of the Insik, the secretary said he would consult his HR and would update the Insik very soon.
And wasting no time to hear more “lectures” from the Insik, the secretary begged off because he had another appointment and excused himself right away.
The Insik had no recourse but to exit the office and pretended to be satisfied with his appointment with the secretary.
Once freed from the view of the Insik, the secretary instructed his staff to avoid a repetition of the incident and instructed them that if the Insik will seek again another appointment, they should find immediate excuse to prevent another meeting with the secretary.
Nagtuo ag Insik nga na-impress ang Secretary sa iyang gihimo, wa siya kabalo nga duna na diay siyay ban sa maong opisina.
Gangisi-ngisi pa ang hinampak pag-gawas sa opisina.

A professional (never mind the profession) suddenly found herself in the vortex of a controversy arising from the practice of her profession.
Mikalit siya og ka-dato. Na-kwartahan og kalit og maoy hinungdan nga kalit sab nausab ang ilang kinabuhi sa iyang pamilya.
She shifted from using ordinary-looking bags to using LV, Dior and Hermes brands. Her husband, the same.
LV na og sapatos and belt, hasta ang wallet. Rolex na ang watches sa bana and they are now sporting a brand-new SUV.
And they are now very active in pisbok.
Their FB friends are always updated with loads of pictures when the couple goes to NUSTAR for some shopping and foodie spree.
Even their children got the share of the new lifestyle.
One kid who is studying in one of the top schools in a nearby province became an instant santa claus to his friends. Pirmi nga mo-blow out sa iyang mga barkada, sky is the limit ang gasto sa pagkaon.
And the landlord of the eldest son got the shocks when the son went to Manila just to have lunch with her mother and father and went back to her schooling on the same day.
Gisayonan ka ana, nag-plane unya miadto ra og Manila aron modungan og lunch sa iyang Papa ug Mama unya mibalik ra pod dayon pagka-hapon,the landlord was astonished.
Naturally, the change in lifestyle attracted attention. Even her friends begun to wonder what was going on, how did they become so rich in so short a time.
And nobody could give an answer, there was no clue at all.
Until one fateful day.
News came out that the woman has been accused of “stealing” the property of another and even selling some of them.
Gitulis sa atubangan ang mga tag-iya unya gibaligya og pipila ka milyones ang ubang parsela nga yuta.
Bantog rang morag unli tong ilang ka-dato, one friend noted.

It’s so hard to find yaya these days, one exasperated mother remarked.
Oh, I thought jobs are few and applicants are aplenty, another one commented.
That’s true but many people nowadays feel no need to look for jobs, even when the prices of basic commodities are always increasing.
How is that?
Well, why work when the government is giving us regular ayuda, daghan og anak, daghan pod og ayuda.
Ah, kanang 4Ps, was the question.
Yes, tiaw bay regular nimo madawat ang ayuda, ngano mo-trabaho pa man ka nga naa may sayon nga sapi, was the quick answer.
Husto pod.
