NEWLY-installed Provincial Sangguniang Kabataan federation president Lawrence Xavier Ancla of Loon town vowed to develop the youth’s potentials in arts, culture, not just skills in sports.
He also said training and improving the youth’s skills in business, entrepreneurship are on his development agenda.
This he bared during the media interview recently right after he assumed as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, representing the youth of Bohol.
He said that by doing so, the SK may be able to train them in preparation of their future and land on a decent job.
When asked how he felt now that he represents the SK to the highest policy-making body of the province, he said he’s “overwhelmed” with this post for he did not expect to come this far.
He said he’s grateful to the people who helped him catapult in this position.
Ancla, along with other SP members, participated in the SP year-end assessment held in Parklane resort in Anda town on December 13-14, 2023.
Ancla was sworn in on November 29, 2023 by senior Board Member Tita V. Baja after he was elected unopposed in a closed door session.
