THE Local Government Unit of Valencia soared to success at the 2nd Regional (DRRM-H) Summit and Recognition Ceremony 2023, held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino last November 30.
The municipality claimed three esteemed awards, including “Most Improved DRRM-H System,” recognizing the LGU’s achievements in Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Health.
Valencia also secured the prestigious “ARMORRED (Active in Risk Management, Outstanding in Risk Reduction in Emergencies and Disasters) Award,” spotlighting exceptional risk management during emergencies and disasters.
Furthermore, the municipality of Valencia stood among the top 15 LGUs of Region 7 acknowledged for its Institutionalized Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Health System in the Central Visayas region.
With 100% score on the 2023 DRRM-H Evaluation, Valencia stands as an inspiration of excellence both in disaster preparedness and response in the whole region.
