It was never OUTgrown!

THE third week of the month of October sent wonderful things to the family.

It is not about politics –  the family being membered with two local politicians. With the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan campaign period that began last week end, barangay politicians in the province would have been trooping to the Short Cuts’ residence seeking for support.

But such was not the case.

Why?

Instead, two visitors from different provinces  but with two different concerns visited Short Cuts on two different dates.

The first was, however, a politician from Sorsogon of Southern Luzon. Short Cuts’ youngest son being a vice governor, this first visitor is also the  incumbent Vice-Governor of his province. Vice governor Krunimar Escudero was with his governor, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawiwgan, and department heads of the province of Sorsogon for a week end seminar held at Panglao.

He excused from his group if only to visit his counterpart in this province. And while he was on the dining table, he shared his experiences as a first termer vice governor during a dinner  offered by his host. The visitor was more delighted when he knew that Short Cuts also served as a one term vice governor in the Province of Bohol.

Short Cuts was more thrilled when the visitor narrated all his and that of his companions praises about the beautiful spots and beach resorts in the province.

This visitor is a first degree cousin of incumbent Senator Chiz Escudero.

Short Cuts’ second visitor was, however, a businessman. He comes from one of the provinces in Mindanao but now with his  business address at Domestic Road, Pasay City. He is engaged in dealing with his family-owned organc fertilizer.

Known as  UNIGROW, this organic fertilizer bears FPA Registration No.1-4LF-1277 and IPO Registration No, 4/2018/00003578.

As revealed by its President, Mr. Jimmy Vistar, UNIGROW is now widely used by farmers in Central Luzon and many provinces in Mindanao. And, it is beginning to be utilized as organic fertilizer in the Visayas region.

Further information revealed by the president that this organic fertilizer is NOW used in the desert lands of Qatar. Accordingly, he was in Qatar two months ago to answer the request of the King for a demonstration in his country. For a successful demonstration, he is scheduled to return to Qatar a month from now.

In two of the Graduation Ceremones held in this province on a Contest in  the use of fertillizers – organic and inorganic – as to the effect on the yield per hectare, It was known that UNIGROW came out to be NO. 1.

It was never OUTgrown!

These particular contests were sponsored by the Provincial Government of Bohol.

And, in these two graduation ceremones –  one in La Union, Sierra Bullones and the second was in Gabi, Ubay –  Short Cuts, as a farmer himself, was present. Therefore, he was a witness to the testimonies narrated by the competing farmers themselves during these two occasions.

They were one in the experience that the use of UNIGROW as a fertilizer was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, and MUCH more better than any organic or INORGANIC fertilizer used by farmers in Bohol.

With those testimonies, Short Cuts was easily convinced.

Beginning this second cropping, he had to shift to the use UNIGROW.

Moreover, an agreement was inked between UNIGROW and Short Cuts that his farm at Carmen, Bohol will be made as a demonstration farm in the province effective November, 2023.
