THE stage has been set for the third World Tourism Day Run spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) in partnership with the Bohol Adventure and Fitness Team (BAFT).
The 5 and 10-kilometer runs kick off at 4 am on Sept. 30 at the Plaza Rizal.
Registration for the event started last Sept. 10 at the Bohol Provincial Tourism Office (BPTO) which is the PGBh lead arm for the event.
Cash prizes await the top three finishers in the male and female categories for both events. Minor awards are also at stake for biggest number of participants, best in costume, oldest runner, youngest runner, and the sexiest male and female runner respectively.
Registration fee is P400 for those running in the 5K category and P500 for the 10K.
Students, senior citizens and PWD can register at discounted rates of P350 for the 5K and P450 for the 10K.
Registered participants are entitled to a finisher medal, event shirt, light breakfast and a chance to win exciting raffle prizes.
