Political leaders should consider these two things: are you for people or for power?
Of course, most of them will say they are for people that is why they came into power.
Most of our leaders today have ‘hidden agenda’ in their political careers. They might deny it but it is very visible.
Their true colors left us shocked and regretted why we chose them in the last elections. But this is not the end. This is not yet over.
We should not gamble our votes to those we believe they cannot give us the services we have wanted.
Realizing the over 5 and 2 years we have experienced from our political leaders on their stint, it was not satisfying — there was lacking — sincerity and transparency to governance, capacity and ability to lead and less job opportunities, among others.
Nonetheless, there were and there are only few we saw true to their oaths and promises. Kudos to them! We are still hoping they will multiply.
Sad to say, we fell very down in the world rankings regarding our economic and poverty status.
Our people are very hungry towards crystal clear leadership. When was the last time we experienced it?
We must distinguish the plans of our leaders: are they for us or for their own interests? That is what really matters today that will surely affect the generations to come. And we are praying if would be on the positive side.
And always remember, the greater power belongs to the people! (Wilson Auguis Subrio)
