THE municipality of Corella, about 11 kms from capital city, celebrates its 139th founding day, today with an array of activities being prepared by the townsfolk led by Mayor Manjo Lim.
Among the most awaited activity is the Pista Sa Nayon at its Plaza with a program to start 5:30 in the afternoon.
Highlighting the celebration were the awarding of Corella official hymn and municipal flag designer; awarding of licensure/civil service exam passers; and awarding of Palarong Bayan, report said.
In his message, Mayor Lim said, “It brings me immense joy to extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you on the occasion of our municipality’s 139th Foundation Day. This day marks a significant milestone in our history, as we reflect upon the journey that has led us to this point and look ahead with optimism to the future that awaits us, people of Corella.”
