expresses gratitude for his support

THE city of Tagbilaran eagerly welcomed Senator Bong Go on July 17, 2023.

Led by Mayor Jane Yap, the city government and barangay officials together with local residents, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Senator Go for his unwavering support and numerous contributions for the city’s development.

During his visit, Senator Go went around the city to see significant projects.

He also went to the sites of the Super Mega Health Center and Dialysis Center, respectively, including the on-going construction of the Cogon Public Market.

In a statement, Mayor Yap expressed her deep appreciation to Senator Go for his continuous dedication and generosity to the people of Tagbilaran.

“We are incredibly grateful for Senator Bong Go’s unwavering support and commitment to the development of Tagbilaran City. We are honored to have him in our city, and we look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration for the betterment of Tagbilaran,” Mayor Yap stated.

A highlight of Senator Go’s visit was his inspection of the Tagbilaran City Super Mega Health Center, a vital healthcare facility designed to provide comprehensive and accessible medical services to the community. It will provide primary healthcare services, specialized treatments, diagnostic facilities, and emergency care.

The ongoing construction of the Cogon Market, which seeks to enhance and modernize the city’s public market, was also part of Senator Go’s itinerary. 

The project has the potential to boost economic growth and improve the overall market experience for both vendors and customers. 

Senator Go also led the ceremonial distribution of financial assistance to city residents. 

The beneficiaries received P3,000 each under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation [AICS] of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Senator Go’s visit solidifies his unwavering dedication to bolster local growth and enhance healthcare services.

The city extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Senator for his continuous support, which has paved the way for numerous impactful projects and assistance programs in Tagbilaran City.
