CPG, Trinidad to adopt VGuv Balite as own son

PRESIDENT Carlos P. Garcia (PCPG) town is contemplating to adopt Vice-Gov. Dionisio Victor Balite as its own son, Mayor Eping Estavilla confirmed.

The mayor said that the Sangguniang Bayan is ready to do the legislative work for the purpose of officially adopting Balite.

In adopting a government official as such, the legislative body of a town or any LGU for that matter is tasked to draft an passed a Resolution stating the said official to be accepted as its own son.

Similarly, Trinidad mayor Atty. Roberto Cajes also plans to persuade the Sangguniang Bayan chaired by Vice-Mayor Erio to do the same.

He told the fiesta gathering in purok 3, barangay Cabiguhan, Trinidad, Bohol last week that there is a need for the vice-governor to be adopted as its son.

He said that the wife of the vice-governor, Rusell Valmores Balite is a resident of barangay Cabiguhan. Cajes was accompanied by his wife ex-mayor Bb Cajes and daughter Joanne Cajes-Imboy and her husband Jethro Imboy, son of the late former Loay Mayor May Imboy and the late provincial Board member Boy Imboy.

The vice-governor has been visiting the island town of PCPG as part of his usual sorties, like observing the session of the Sangguniang Bayans in the municipalities.

Lately, he has been to PCPG to grace the foundation day of the town, wherein he and Gov. Aris Aumentado were welcomed by the townsfolks. (rvo)
