Kini human nipahigayon sila sa Reorganizational Meeting sa maong pundok kon diin si Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez maoy napili nga mahimong NEDA Board Chairman.
Si Benitez ang RD Chairperson sa Western Visayas samtang si Torres-Gomez ang sa Eastern Visayas.
Nitambong usab sila USec. Terence Calatrava (Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas), USec. Mark Road Gimenez (Presidential Management Staff-Visayas) ug USec. Carlos Bernard O. Delos Santos (NEDA Regional Development Group).
Ilang nahisgutan sa wala pa nagsugod ang pormal nga tigum mao ang pagdugtong sa mga lalawigan sa Central Visayas ug Visayas Region sama sa Cebu-Bohol bridge, Bohol-Leyte Bridge ug Cebu-Negros Bridge.
Moresulta kini sa mas paspas nga pagsaka sa ekonomiya sa maong Rehiyon.
