Tagbilaran Mobile Clinic launching
marks start of healthcare accessibility

The City Government of Tagbilaran, in partnership with Senator Risa Hontiveros, launches the Tagbilaran Mobile Clinic at the City Hall grounds. Launched on May 26,2023, the program aims to provide comprehensive, accessible and efficient service to the people of Tagbilaran City. TAGBILARAN City proudly unveiled its latest initiative in improving healthcare accessibility through the Tagbilaran City Mobile Clinic on May 26, 2023 at the City Hall grounds. 

This innovative project, a collaboration between Senator Risa Hontiveros and the City Government of Tagbilaran, aims to bring quality healthcare services closer to the residents of the city.

Tagbilaran City mayor Jane Yap with city hall officials, ushered in the launching of the mobile health clinic together with healthcare professionals headed by city health officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc, barangay captains and senior citizens’ leaders witnessed by city hall employees led by city administrator Cathelyn Torremocha.

The unveiling of the mobile clinic showcased its state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to include its x-ray, ultrasound, laboratory, and ECG capabilities. These advanced diagnostic tools will enable medical professionals to provide comprehensive and efficient healthcare services, right at the doorstep of the community.

Mayor Yap expressed her gratitude to Senator Risa Hontiveros for the latter’s unwavering support and partnership in making this project a reality.

“The Tagbilaran City Mobile Clinic is a significant milestone in our efforts to prioritize the health and well-being of our residents. This mobile clinic will enable us to reach out to those who have limited access to healthcare services such as senior citizens, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable individuals such as dialysis and stroke patients,” Mayor Yap added.

The mobile clinic together with Tagbilaran City’s mobile Botika, Dental Bus and mobile kitchen will visit various barangays and communities within the city, ensuring the bringing of healthcare services directly to the people’s doorsteps.
