THE Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) awarded the Provincial Government of Bohol for hosting the 69th Meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Corporation (AWGIPC) and IP ROADSHOW on March 13-17, 2023.
IPOPHL through Atty. Rowel S. Barba presented the award to Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, and Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) Metodio Maraguinot Jr, during the Women in IP: 23 Gawad Yamang Isip Awards and Fashion Night on April 26 at the Maynila Ballroom, Manila Hotel.
Barba expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government led by Governor Aris Aumentado, which support greatly contributed to the success of AWGIPC and IP Roadshow.
Also present at the event were Senator Imee Marcos and DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual.
The Women in IP: 23 Gawad Yamang Isip Awards and Fashion Night is part of the World IP Day celebration and the culminating activity for the National Intellectual Property Month (NIPM), observed in the country yearly in April. (PIMO/ ALT/GMC)
