THE newly-elected Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage Council executive board members, section, and committee heads took oath on Monday, February 6, at the New Capitol Building in Tagbilaran City.
Argeo Melisimo will head the council as the new chairperson, along with co-chairperson Board Member Atty. Jiselle Rae Aumentado Villamor; Secretary Athen Vitor; Treasurer Vida May Tirol de Juan; Auditor Aurelio Salgados; and Executive Director Emerson Pinos.
Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado and Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite administered the oath-taking for the executive board and the new section heads and committee heads of the BACH Council.
The new officers will head the four different sections of the council: Arts section, Heritage section, Cultural Development, and Cultural Governance. The BACH Council oversees cultural and art programs in Bohol that promote education, diversity, humanities, heritage, and preservation.
