The dollar rate, as of late, has decreased.
During the past months, many Filipinos had been bothered by the continuous increase of the US dollar rate, especially because it had peaked to 59PHP per the dollar. The increase caused an alarm because it would surely affect the prices of most, if not all, necessary resources for daily use. Indeed, it should alarm the Filipinos, because the higher the Dollar rate is the more the prices in the local economy would increase.
Fortunately, after months of continuous increase, the dollar has finally decreased its value. Accordingly, the dollar rate has already decreased to 56.7PHP per dollar. It might not be as low as before, nevertheless, it is still a decrease. Such a decrease will cause a good amount of impact in the local economy, and would, thus, be a good favor to our countrymen.
Whether or not the dollar rate would continue to decrease against the Philippine peso, remains dependent on the relative circumstances affecting them, most especially on how our (Philippine) Government would respond.
It is hoped that what will happen next, would continue to benefit the citizens of our country. (AJDB)
