Senator Imee Marcos visited Bohol yesterday to open the giving of three thousand pesos to Boholano indigents The Bohol Cultural Center was packed to the brim yet you can see the peoples’ smile of triumph and accomplishment when they have received their monetary reward.
The whole ordeal was conducted and assisted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development. They were further assisted by the Provincial Government of Bohol, especially the liaison officers and their cohort, to ensure that the activity continued without a hitch.
We were there to witness the chaos and the dedication of the people. There is more to want to ensure activities like this in the future experience less chaos, and quickens the process without sacrificing the necessary actions to be done. We can say the activity was a success, but we hope there will be more in the future to give financial assistance to our poorest of the poor. (MIDB)
