THE Tagbilaran City Council, headed by City Vice Mayor Jose Antonio S. Veloso, assures that it will support all the barangays in the city for their continued public services of their constituents through the approval of the Appropriation Ordinances of the barangays.
The budgets of each barangay serve as an instrument for barangay officials to effectively manage the development of the barangays and functions as a tool for planning the direction and magnitude of the use of their funds.
To date, the City Council has reviewed and approved four barangay Annual Budgets for 2022, namely: Barangay Taloto with an Annual Budget of (P9,661,709.00), Barangay San Isidro with an Annual Budget of (P9,700,000.00), Barangay Bool with an Annual Budget of (P10,324,352.00) and Barangay Ubujan with an Annual Budget of (P8,600,00.00).
It is expected that the Annual Budgets of the rest of the barangays will be submitted to the city council for review and approval. (PR)
