PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gathered newly elected governors and city mayors across the country to discuss the government’s Booster Campaign Rollout and plans towards the resumption of Face-to-Face Classes at the Rizal Hall in Malacañan Palace on July 8, 2022.
According to the reports issued by the Radio Television Malacanang – RTVM, among the highlights of the event were the opening remarks and briefing presentation by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. on the ‘Local Government Unit (LGU) Efforts on Booster Administration’, Vice President and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte’s briefing presentation on the ‘Resumption of Face-to-Face Classes’, and Department of Health’s (DOH) plan on ‘Vaccination Mobilization’ by Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire. The President delivered his message virtually while currently on isolation after his antigen result tested positive for COVID-19. (Jeanette Busano)
