YOUR creativity can help clean up our shores. Join the Waste to Art competition! Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Incorporated invites all young artists in Tagbilaran City to help raise awareness on the harmful effects of pollution by creating a meaningful masterpiece using only trash or waste found at coastal lines. In partnership with the City Government of Tagbilaran, the competition is inviting all environmental conservationists to join.
It is open to all 16-22 year old Tagbilaran Residents; sculpture must be at least 80% made from actual trash or wastes found along coastal areas; output dimensions, height 18’’ (46cm), Base 10’’ (26cm); prepare a 1-2 paragraph explanation of your sculpture, including its title; submit your entries until July 1, 2022, 3:00PM at Tagbilaran City Hall; entries will be shortlisted and will move forward to the finals; all the finalists will be posted online on July 3, 2022; artwork exhibit and judging will take place on July 5, 2022, and the announcement of winners will take place on July 6, 2022 during PSFI’s 40th Anniversary Community Celebration at the Tagbilaran City Hall Atrium.
