VALENCIA officials paid a courtesy visit to the Capitol to discuss the municipality’s upcoming Valencia Day celebration and follow up on local projects and other requests on October 1, 2026.

This was after Governor Aumentado welcomed Valencia Mayor Dionisio Neil Balite, Vice Mayor Aristotle Cometa, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and SK Municipal Federation President Nicoleson Gallemaso during their visit to the Governor’s Office.

The delegation also included SB Members Nona Bolacoy, Jerald Portrias, Ireneo Gamus, Rammel Cagulada, Elpidio Palaca, Patricio Palaca, Ramil Bete, and Arman Namoc, together with Liga ng mga Barangay President Elsa Galacio.

During the meeting, the Valencia officials invited Governor Aumentado to the municipality’s Valencia Day on October 27 and discussed requests related to the celebration.

They also followed up on the municipality’s priority projects, particularly road projects, as well as other needs requiring provincial support.

Governor Aumentado emphasized the provincial government’s continuing efforts to strengthen coordination with every local government unit and respond to their development needs through sustained partnership.

The engagement supports the Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap through responsive governance and inclusive development, advancing shared efforts toward a more resilient Bohol within the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark. (PIMO/MFM)
