THE City Government of Tagbilaran, through the City Agriculture and Veterinary Office (CAVO), has announced the August 2026 schedule for its regular pet registration and veterinary services program.
The program will cover all 15 barangays in the city.
Under the program, pet owners may avail of annual registration for ₱100 per pet.
Lifetime registration with microchipping is also available for ₱400 per pet.
CAVO will also provide free rabies vaccination and free deworming services during the scheduled barangay visits.
Pet registration activities have already been completed in barangays Bool, Dao, Cabawan and Poblacion II.
Here is the schedule for the coming days.
August 10 – Barangay Poblacion III (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 11 – Barangay Booy (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 12 – Barangay Dampas (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 13 – Barangay Taloto (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 17 – Barangay Tiptip (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
August 18 – Barangay Poblacion I (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
August 19 – Barangay Manga (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
August 20 – Barangay San Isidro (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
August 24 – Barangay Cogon (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 25 – Barangay Mansasa (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
August 26 – Barangay Ubujan (9:00 AM – 12:00 NN).
CAVO OIC Dr. Carl Leonard Pradera reminded all residents to arrive on time.
Pet owners should bring any necessary documents if applicable.
They are also advised to place dogs on a leash and secure cats in carriers for the safety of both the animals and the public.
City officials said the continuing barangay-based veterinary program reflects Tagbilaran’s commitment to animal welfare.
It also supports rabies prevention and accessible veterinary services.
The program helps build a safer, healthier, and more pet-friendly community for all Tagbilaranons.
