Tagbilaran welcomes 5 new wellness and retail shops

TAGBILARAN City’s local business landscape continues to expand with the opening of five new establishments.

The new businesses signal sustained investor confidence and growing consumer demand.

They also strengthen the city’s position as Bohol’s commercial and service hub.

The newest additions to the city’s business community are Flex & Flow Pilates Studio, Happy Thoughts Shop, Blinds Soothing Massage Services, Alva’s Chicharon and Fried Chicken, and the Women’s Association Dao Sari-Sari store.

These establishments represent investments in the wellness, retail, and personal services sectors.

Flex & Flow Pilates Studio marks a first for Tagbilaran City as its inaugural dedicated Pilates facility.

It is located on the third floor of the Amani Building along C.P.G. Avenue.

The studio offers fitness and wellness programs designed to promote strength, flexibility, and overall health.

Happy Thoughts Shop has opened on the Lower Ground Floor of Alta Citta Mall.

The shop expands the city’s retail offerings with party supplies, gifts, and event essentials.

It caters to both individual customers and events organizers.

Blinds Soothing Massage Services has also opened on the Lower Ground Floor of Island City Mall.

The establishment provides therapeutic massage services.

It also promotes inclusive employment by creating livelihood opportunities for visually impaired therapists.

Adding to the city’s thriving food industry, Alva’s Chicharon and Fried Chicken which recently opened along Thomas Cloma Avenue in Barangay Taloto, across St. Peter Mega Chapel. It offers dining option for residents and visitors alike.

The city also witnessed the opening of the Women’s Association Dao Sari-Sari Store, a community – based enterprise that aims to provide additional livelihood opportunities for members of the local women’s association while it brings affordable basic commodities closer to residents.

Mayor Jane Yap said the continued entry of new businesses shows private sector confidence in Tagbilaran’s investment climate.

She added that it reflects the city’s sustained economic growth.

“These new investments are indicators of a healthy local economy,” Mayor Yap said.

“Every business that opens creates employment, stimulates local spending, and expands opportunities for our residents,” she added.

“We remain committed to making Tagbilaran a city where businesses can thrive and where economic growth translates into better opportunities for every Tagbilaranon,” she further said.

The business openings also coincide with Tagbilaran City’s Diamond Jubilee celebration.

The timing highlights the city’s continued economic momentum as it marks six decades of growth and development.
