
A COACHING and Mentoring Program is a structured development initiative where experienced individuals (coaches/mentors) guide and support less-experienced individuals. Coaching and mentoring programs activities conducted to provide assistance to those who are need to enhance their skills and competencies. These activities provide programs with organizational goals and establish open and communication feedback to encourage functional participation. Part of the considerations is to monitor progress and make adjustments if necessary.
In response to one of the issues and concerns raised during division-level monitoring and evaluation activities, concerning overlapping of activities, the proponent of this program offers an innovation that will be referred to as Virtual Coaching and Mentoring Program (V-CaMP). Specific schedules will be provided through google forms and links will be sent directly to the proposed clients. A scholarship program granted to the proponent through Linking Standards and Quality Practice (LiSQuP) Program, at the Philippines Normal University (PNU) Manila, in a virtual mode of instruction, motivated her to conduct this kind of activity. The main reason why, the proponent believes that it is a high time for her to provide activities as a way to consider “return of investment”, from the good things she got from the agency, in a virtual manner.
