SINCE day 1 of the epic increase in the prices of gasoline and other fuel products, traffic has become lighter, the number of mall and grocery shoppers has also noticeably dropped, the same goes to the number of food-eaters and beer-drinkers.
The sharp increase hit and really hit hard because of the fact that we are totally dependent on imported fuel.
And we do not have our own supply, we are completely dependent on the good graces of the oil suppliers from the Middle East.
And worse, our government is not prepared to deal with the situation. There are no viable contingency plans given the fact that long before the actual bombings, there were already strong indications that war was imminent. War posturings from Israel and the US came months before, warning the Tehran government that they were poised to attack. And attack they did. And that totaled everything.
And yet, no contingency plans, except allow the imposition of fuel price increases.
And the kurakots in Congress are instead going all out and preparing on full scale for the “battle of their lives” – which is the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.

To divert the attention of the people from the flood control scandal, they would rather focus on impeaching Inday Sara.
And why is that?
Two things – one, so the focus of the controversy is on Sara and not on them, and two, to prevent Inday Sara from becoming the next president because for sure, Inday Sara will go after them big-time crooks.

The Cebu Alliance for Duterte (CAD) has already issued a reminder or a warning to the members of Congress in Cebu – sign the impeachment against Inday Sara and this will be your political death warrant in 2028.
The meaning is ultra clear – pirma mo sa impeachment ni Inday Sara kay kaming mga tawo ang mo-hukom ninyo sa 2028. Pasabot, dili na mi mobotar ninyo sa 2028 ug mangampanya pa gyod mi nga dili na mo botaran.
That is not an idle threat, mind you.
Why?
Because Inday Sara got one of her high votes in Cebu and Cebu got a record-high 85%+ voters turn-out.
So kon mo-issue og warning nga dili na sila pabotaran sa mga supporters ni Inday Sara ug Tatay Digong, bug-at kaayo kini nga warning ug lisod i-bale-wala lang.
Nindot tingali ug buhaton sab nato ni sa Bohol.

Susko, duna na sab plano nga “experiment” ang Dep-Ed nga himoon na sab nga tri-mester ang school calendar sa mga bata. Pasabot, buakon sa tulo ang school calendar tungod kay matod pa, mius-os ang learning curve sa mga bata karon.
Gihimo nila kini bisan way consultation, ug way igong gibasehan nga maayo ang resulta kon usbon ang school calendar.
Unsaon god pag-improve ang learning output sa mga bata nga padayon ra man gihapon ang dugay na nga mga problema sama sa kulang nga mga classroom, kulang nga mga maestro/maestra, kulang ang mga instructional materials ug sobra ra ka bug-at nga work load sa mga maestro/maestra?
Gani, nagbagotbot man ang mga ginikanan sa lain sab nga experiment nga gitawag og Kto12 curriculum nga nagdugang lang og duha ka tuig sa pag-eskuyla ug gasto pero walay nakitang kausaban sa nakat-onan sa mga bata.
