THE Jagna District has served as host during the 2026 Provincial Star Holiday and Twinklers’ Playday on January 31,2026-February 1, 2026. Jagna Central Elementary School or the Jagna Camping Center as venue, welcoming Girl Scouts from across Bohol and Tagbilaran City.
The Provincial Star Holiday and Twinklers’ Playday is an annual Girl Scouts event in Bohol that brings together Star Scouts (typically grades one to three learners) and Twinklers (kindergarten learners) from across the province for fun scouting activities, friendship building, skill development, and council-wide fellowship under the Girl Scouts program. It includes games, outdoor activities, and theme-based programs designed to develop leadership, teamwork, and scouting skills.
The activity is designed to build camaraderie among registered Twinkler and Star Girl Scouts. It typically features games, parlor activities, badges, program materials, and sometimes transportation support for participants. The event supports local scouting goals and encourages outdoor learning and leadership.
Public Schools District Supervisor of Jagna District, Antonio P. Buaya PhD, Central School Principal Mercuria O. Tagapia, GSP District Field Adviser Eleuteria M. Imam, Jagna School Leaders and Stakeholders, provided the needed support for the success of the three-day activity for the Star Scouts and one-day activity for the Twinklers. The necessary materials, and services were provided by the host district.
