A NEW milestone in community development was marked in Barangay Mansasa, Tagbilaran City, with the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its newly constructed Barangay Hall held on October 26, 2025.
The event symbolized the barangay’s continuous growth and the city’s collective efforts toward responsive and inclusive local governance.
Leading the inauguration was First District Congressman John Geesnell “Baba” Yap II, representing Mayor Jane Yap, together with Vice Governor Nicanor Besas, City Administrator Alvin Acuzar, and City Councilors Gemma Inting, Merick Blanco, and Jose Floro Ringca.
They were joined by Punong Barangay Arvin Visarra, members of the Barangay Council, and residents of Mansasa.
In her message, Mayor Jane Yap emphasized that the new Barangay Hall is more than just a building—it is a symbol of the city’s ongoing commitment to support every barangay with safe, modern, and functional facilities to better serve their constituents.
“This project reflects our dedication to empower our barangays by ensuring they have the right tools and spaces to deliver efficient public service,” Mayor Yap said.
The Mansasa Barangay Hall now stands as a mark of cooperation and good governance—a proof to how unity among local and national leaders can translate into meaningful improvements in the lives of the people.
