BAG-OHAY lamang giduso ni Congw. Vanvan Aumentado ang House Bill No. 4281 o Comprehensive Hazardous Waste Management bill didto sa Ubos Balay Balauranan.
“This bill seeks to establish a comprehensive, science-based, and sustainable approach to regulating hazardous waste. It sets clear definitions and classifications, outlines the responsibilities of generators, transporters, and treatment facilities, and strengthens the role of national and local government units in enforcement and compliance monitoring,” pamahayag pa ni Congw. Vanvan.
“It encourages public participation, promotes education and training, and creates incentives for safer waste treatment technologies. It is designed not only to penalize violators, but more importantly, to guide and support industries and institutions in adopting responsible waste management practices,” dugang pa sa kongresista sa Segundo Distrito.
“By institutionalizing these measures, the proposed legislation affirms the State’s commitment to safeguarding the environment and promoting the right of every Filipino to a healthful ecology, as enshrined in the Constitution.”
