IN A solemn and meaningful ceremony, the newly elected officials of Tagbilaran City led by Mayor Jane Yap took their oaths of office on May 29, 2025.
The day’s events began with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Ubujan Monastery.
This was followed by the formal oath-taking ceremony held at the City Mayor’s Office.
The ceremony served as a powerful expression of the people’s trust in their elected leaders and underscored the continuity of the city’s development under the banner of the “Asenso Pa More” team.

The ceremony followed a historic victory in the 2025 National and Local Elections held on May 12, 2025, where the Asenso Pa More slate made a complete sweep, delivering a resounding 15-0 win.
Their victory reflects the strong trust and confidence of the Tagbilaranons in their leadership and the governance direction they continue to champion.
