TAGBILARAN City continues to thrive as a center for commerce and innovation with the opening of new businesses this week, affirming its status as one of the most dynamic and business-friendly cities in the country.

On May 5, 2025, the City Government of Tagbilaran extended its full support to the blessing and ribbon-cutting of the new branch of Sleeves Shirt Depot, a thriving local enterprise known for its wide range of printing and customization services.

The store offers full sublimation, DTF printing, embroidery, as well as printing services for tarpaulins, stickers, IDs, and lanyards-making it a one-stop shop for both personal and corporate branding needs.

Just a few days later, on May 8, 2025, the city witnessed the grand launching of the MACBIZZ App, a multi-purpose transportation and delivery platform designed to make daily services more convenient for Tagbilaranons.

The app allows users to book tricycles, food, and express deliveries, offering a one-stop digital solution for essential needs.

The City Government continues to stand behind initiatives that promote innovation and support local businesses, providing an enabling environment for entrepreneurs to grow and serve the community.

These developments underscore the city’s well-earned recognitions, including being awarded as the 2023 Most Business-Friendly City (Component City Category) by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).

Tagbilaran was also named a Hall of Fame Awardee, an honor conferred after winning the prestigious title three times in the past five years.

The City also received the Outstanding and Business-Friendly City in the Philippines award from World Class Philippines 2023.

With its continued progress and strong governance, Tagbilaran City remains a beacon for investment, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth in Central Visayas.
