
THE spirit of festivity takes centerstage once again as the City Government of Tagbilaran, in partnership with its co-presenters and sponsors, celebrates these feast day of Sr. San Jose with the Saulog Tagbilaran 2025 Street Dancing and Ritual Showdown today, April 27, 2025.
Fifteen vibrant contingents representing the city’s barangays will bring color, rhythm, and culture to the streets, with Barangay Poblacion III returning to defend their championship titles in both the Street Dancing and Ritual Showdown categories from Saulog Tagbilaran 2024.
Performances will unfold along Carlos P. Garcia (CPG) Avenue, where two designated dancing stations have been set up for contingents to perform in front of judges, city officials, sponsors, and enthusiastic spectators.
The excitement will then continue at the CPG Sports Complex, where the contingents will deliver their grand performances in the ritual showdown, the most awaited portion of the competition.
Adding pageantry and glamour to the event, the Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2025 titleholder, along with her royal court, will join the parade.
They will be accompanied by this year’s Mutya representatives from various barangays, offering a glimpse of the city’s young ambassadors of beauty and culture.
Also participating are Saulog 2025’s official sponsors, who will contribute to the festive atmosphere with creatively designed floats and walking displays, showcasing their support for the city’s cultural celebration.
The Saulog Street Dancing and Ritual Showdown continues to be a key highlight of Tagbilaran’s annual fiesta celebration, reflecting the city’s deep devotion to Sr. San Jose, while promoting local identity, creativity, and community pride.
