VISUAL artists from Bohol and Cebu are having a heyday showcasing their works of art in Tagbilaran from April 25 until May 4, 2022. The colorful canvasses provided a beautiful tapestry at the City Hall Atrium.
Several painting styles like abstract, realism, and expressionism, are proudly displayed in the week-long exhibit.

Julie Bee Unlayao; Joryell Mamac; Joseph Romero; Jonathan Benjo Manigo; Natalie John Manigo; Francis Cris Gulayan; Victor Kim Naquila; John Real Dinoy; Zandra Cristina Dunque; Eddibong Algodon; Joanna Bei Dungog; Joanna Mei Dungog; Mel Donna Dungog; Abigail Rosario; Floro Impas; Ervin Insoy; Ralph Bonsukan; Angelin Andrade; Janus Gian Andrade; Yarissa Kesia Mercado; John Noel Lumapak; Lito Busgano; Nic Aca; Jay Borces; Ana Saguirel; Gaile Religano Aseniero; Zenen Opada; Fermin Laurden Tac-an; Lea Luminarias; Ellen Luminarias; Jhon Cyriell Bate, and Yen Dinoy.
The Saulog Body Painting Contest was also held simultaneously during the exhibit’s grand opening graced by City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap and First Lady Jane Yap. The entries were narrowed down to three (3) as judged by artists Celeste Dusal-Dumas, Ma. Daisylou Daquipa-Manluza, Lea Luminarias, Nicolas Aca, and Nila Itac.
Three body paintings wowed both the audience and the judges as they sashayed the ramp wearing their iconic headdress and intricate body paint. The top three were dominated by artists John Oliver Jumarito, Mark Virgel Daohog, and Julie Bee Unlayao, with their respective models, Jane Madrigal, Jane Mapalo, and Sorah Manila. (Jeanette Busano)
