Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Bohol Council conducted an Outdoor Leadership Course, at Roxas Park Elementary School, Garcia-Hernandez, Bohol on January 31, 2025-February 2, 2025, under the leadership of GSP Bohol Council Executive Director, Priscilla Moonyeen P. Montanez.
The three-day GSP training program was attended by forty-one troop leaders from the different districts in the Schools Division of Bohol. These troop leaders have already attended the Basic and Age Level Courses from different venues and schedules.
Six members of the training team handled the different sessions: Ethelinda S. Laguitao MT2, from Dimiao District; Nilda D, Ombrosa retired MT 2 from Inabanga District, Axilum P. Cabido MT 2, from Clarin District; Gregoria B. Dabalos PhD, retired Secondary School Principal, from Guindulman District, Ma. Maya V. Tumalon PhD, MDM Education Program Supervisor- Values Education; and Priscilla Moonyeen P. Montanez, GSP Council Executive.
There were also event staff who provided technical assistance in the conduct of the training program: Janet B. Real, Training Assistant/Secretariat, and Dinah C. Lanoy, Training Assistant/ Guider In-charge.
The forty-one GSP troop leaders who participate the three-day training program experienced different out-of-doors experiences, for them to become more effective, committed, and dedicated troop leaders to the girl scouts under their care.
