Farmers organize to push for Richli to provide clean water

BALILIHAN, Bohol – The farmers organized themselves into Bugwak Spring Farmers Association (BSFA) in barangay Sto. Nino, Balilihan, Bohol, according to its leaders.

Elected officer are: Uldarico Ambojot, president; Benedicto Ambojot, vice-president; May Ann Laag, secretary; Clarisa Ambojot, treasurer; Lyra Ambojot, assistant treasurer; Arvin Otto and Perla Luzano, auditors.

The public relations officers are: Cesar Libut, Jr. and Jenimy Ambojot; sgt-at  arms are Jeffrey  Ipong, Reo Pajuta, and Jonathan Mancha, and Eladio Baliong, adviser.

Atty. Jun Felisilda of Anda town administered the simple but fitting oath-taking ceremony at the lot owned by Richli in Sto.Nino, where the spring is located on April 23, 2022.

In his message, Uldarico Ambojot said that he wants that the people the barangay and all of Hanopol area be given clean water that the corporation may provide.

On the same vein, Kagawad Ricky Madanguit, in his short speech, urged the association and the people in Balilihan to effect change, especially in providing treated potable water that Richli Corp. could provide.

He said that one of his advocacies is the provision of clean water, not only for the present but for the generations to come.

He said that it is sad that almost 50 years of the present dispensation of the town has not provide a clean water for the people here.

That’s why he is supporting the corporation’s thrusts of bringing clean water to the people. But he is against those who made “fake” people rallies just to block the corporation in developing water system for good.

He said the corporation has now offered a good price for P19.00/cubic meter from P24.00, citing the signed document by the corporation’s bigwigs. (rvo)
